Inspiration | New York City girl

July 25, 2013
The New Yorker and its delirium is a typical diatribe of the cosmopolitan inhabitants of "The City". New York has always been the heart of the United States, at least outside the political rodeo Americans have going on. However, the relationship between the city and its people has always been well treated by people who have never set foot in it or by authors who have fallen in love with a city they weren't born at, they didn't live at, but somehow belonged there.

New York has a futuristic beauty - just as Boccioni's works of art. Is dynamic, postmodern, ethereal in its fugacity, fast, frantic. Is more beautiful than the Victory of Samothrace, ie, more beautiful than Athens and Rome. New York is high and, since the Twin Towers fell, is somewhat less, but it really does not matter. New York is a city of gray and green. It is a reconciliation, the vital breath of how life survives in the most rugged and craggy rock...

...and it's quite obvious that we all love New York, right?

great post. there's no place like new york. I love it when I read a short biography and at the end says something like "(He/she) is now living and working in New York City"! x

  4. Thank you! And I completely agree with you. X
