January playlist

January 31, 2014

Chilly and cloudy weather calls for a selection of rather slow melodies that somehow will make you feel nostalgic... maybe because you might feel identified by the meaningful lyrics of the songs, maybe because they bring back memories; or maybe because winter always manages to bring out a feeling of longing...

Anyhow, here are the most played songs on my iPod this month. Enjoy!

CANDY SAYSThe Velvet Underground
I HUNG MY HEAD - Johnny Cash
IN THE AEROPLANE OVER THE SEA - Neutral Milk Hotel
MARY JANE'S LAST DANCE - Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers
I KNOW IT'S OVER - The Smiths
RIOT VAN - Arctic Monkeys
THE MAN WHO SOLD THE WORLD - Nirvana (original by David Bowie)
COOKING UP SOMETHING GOOD - Mac Demarco
I ALWAYS KNEW - The Vaccines

What tunes have you been listening to lately?
